This is the first mini candy mold I've purchased and I just tried it with Wilton candy coating melts. The results were incredible! The candy melts lend themselves to be shiny when molded anyway, but the amount of detail in this mold is truly stunning, and the lovely little shapes shone brightly. For easy removal, let the melts sit on the counter for 15 minutes (after tapping to remove air bubbles), then stick it in the freezer for 30 seconds (I mean that seriously). You'll want to bend the mold toward yourself, but resist the temptation. Bend with the cavities facing away from you, and lightly "flick" the back side of the mold to release the candies. Fabulous product!!!
